About You.

If you have a passion for fin-tech and creating vibrant and dynamic social media communities for the next generation of fintech tools, you’ve come to the right place. We are searching for an experienced Community Manager to join the Coinsmart team to help build a scalable cryptocurrency platform developed with the end user in mind. This is a full time position located in Toronto. The role will work collaboratively with our North American marketing team, as well as working with remote team members, and key stakeholders to deliver a strategic, thriving and multi platform social media community that will drive user engagement and grow CoinSmart’s business through numerous verticals.

What You'll Do.

Community Management

  • The Community Manager is responsible for growing CoinSmart’s social media through primarily developing and executing content strategies and community engagement.
  • Manage all creation and scheduling of content across all social channels including but not necessarily limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit and Discord
  • Tell our story – You will learn about what differentiates CoinSmart: our customers, products and culture, and lead the development and execution of content strategies with creativity and consistency across various internal and external social media platforms.
  • Target and cultivate relationships with influencers
  • Grow Our Impact ­- You will collaborate and develop strong relationships with colleagues across teams, departments and externally to support strategic priorities (e.g. new products, webcasts and podcasts), and contribute to growing our reach and impact.
  • Innovate – You will constantly scan for better and smarter ways of achieving goals, whether that is through a new technology, process, platform or something else, and drive innovation in your role and within the team.
  • Put customer first – You will have a customer-first attitude and manage opportunities, inquiries, issues and problems as they arise and educate our customers.
  • Strengthen Community and Culture ­- You will lead the development and execution of community engagement strategies, support community projects and be a key player in strengthening community and culture at CoinSmart and our customers’ trust in CoinSmart

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media and community engagement
  • Experience with planning and executing a strategic social media and community building plan
  • Ability to apply the voice, tone, and personality of the CoinSmart brand across social channels
  • Experience in working with influencers to create unique and interesting social collaborations and activations
  • Strong proficiency in creative and social channel management tools
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and manage numerous detailed projects with tight timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of personal accountability
  • Exceptional communications, writing and editing skills
  • Highly collaborative and capable of managing contributors indirectly in a dynamic environment
  • High-energy, self-directed and team oriented, passionate about operational excellence
  • Previous start-up experience and background in FinTech is a plus
