About You.

CoinSmart is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Vice President of Business Development, iGaming to be one of the pioneering members of CoinSmart’s SmartPay crypto payment processing business unit. We are looking for someone with deep industry connections and hands-on sales experience in the payment industry with a focus and proven track record of acquiring new business in the igaming industry (operators, platforms, service providers, etc.)

$180,000-$220,000 base salary

+ Tiered Commission based on quota attainment

What You'll Do.

  • Expand the business within the iGaming vertical to support the company’s SmartPay sales targets and strategies.
  • Onboarding new clients and partners leveraging your own existing network and/or by creating one.
  • Execute company’s business development plan by acquiring new enterprise customers/merchants, and retaining/maintaining relationships with customers/merchants for accomplishing sales targets.
  • Develop business relationship/potential partnerships with merchants, platforms, service providers, industry associations, medias and affiliates in the  igaming industry.
  • Display a strong understanding of each client’s business model and effectively promote and sell SmartPay crypto payment processing solutions to grow existing portfolio and help clients to optimize their payments activities.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, Customer Success and Marketing to drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and networking conferences.
  • Provide compelling pitch presentations and product demonstrations of the SmartPay crypto payment solution for key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Lead the end to end sales cycle from prospecting to closing and implementation – including, but not limited to, cold prospecting, pitching, sales demos, negotiations, closing, KYB/KYC onboarding.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in lead generation and business development a Deep knowledge and experience in global payments,  igaming and gambling markets; access to industry related resources is a definite advantage.
  • You will have hands-on B2B online enterprise sales experience working in the payments industry with specialism in igaming 
  • 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in professional services, including business development, management of client relationships, and delivery oversight.
  • 10+ years of experience leading, managing, coaching, and developing staff
  • Experience with Salesforce platform
  • Experience working with IGaming customers to understand and solve their most pressing business challenges
  • Knowledge of the concepts, practices, procedures, and deliverables associated with system development, implementation, and operational readiness.
  • Knowledge of technical acumen to work with technical teams to develop comprehensive operational plans and address technical issues
  • Significant experience managing C-suite relationships at customers
  • Experience working on pursuit teams and leading the proposal development process
  • Executive-level communication skills, written and oral
  • Travel up to 50% (While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended)
  • Bachelor’s degree
